Elijah is a curious and humorous teenage boy. Elijah is affectionate, creative, and a joy to be around! Elijah really enjoys drawing and being outside. He loves to ride and repair his bike and collect objects he finds in his travels. Elijah has a great imagination and loves to have fun. Elijah also enjoys playing with his Nintendo DS and playing with Pokemon cards.
Elijah has made many improvements in his behavior in his current placement. He is learning to control his outbursts and how to help around the home. Elijah enjoys being around animals and being with anyone who loves animals too. He has a fascination with Marvel characters and loves to listen to the movie soundtracks of his favorite characters.
Elijah does well with structure and routine. Elijah is very personable and loves to be around people. Elijah will do best in a family that is loving, patient, and experienced. Elijah can’t wait to have a family to call his own!
Logan is a creative and social. He enjoys engaging in activities where he can work with his hands. He is good at doing origami and carpentry. He loves taking things apart and learning how to put them back together. He enjoys building 3D models and teaching others about each project.
Logan likes to talk and loves spending time with others. Logan appreciates when others listen to what he has to say and make the effort to remember it.
Logan needs a family that will help him improve his social skills and better understand boundaries. Any family considering Logan will need to be able to provide him with supervision, encouragement, and transferable life skills for his adulthood.
Logan is currently in his senior year at high school and is working with a job assistance program to teach him job skills. Logan is really looking forward to getting a job.
Despite his age, Logan has voiced that he still would like to be adopted or to at least have someone become his guardian and look out for him in the future.
Joey loves clothing and shoes. He likes to shop and walk around the mall looking at clothing. He enjoys learning and having one on one time with friends and family. Joey desperately wants to be adopted and have a family to call his own, forever. He also really would like his family to help him stay in contact with his older sister and her moms. He enjoys working on his life book and can't wait to one day add pictures and adventures with his adoptive family. He would like an active family that enjoys game nights and values time together. Joey needs a lot of reassurance from those who care for him. He does best with multiple verbal reminders and redirection. His family should be willing to provide opportunities for Joey to practice his independence and build his self-esteem. Joey can be very affectionate and caring, he would benefit from a nurturing and affectionate parent. He enjoys being outside and joining in on family activities. Joey's interests include history and science, music, video games and name brand clothes and shoes. He loves animals and pets and has even expressed an interest in participating in a form of animal therapy.
Joey would do best in a family with a mother and a father. Joey longs to be around others who care about him. He has siblings and does well with his sister’s sister. Joey would like his own room and opportunity to work and have his own monies.
Brandon is an active 17-year-old. He loves to play hockey and hunt. Brandon has played hockey for the past six years on a traveling hockey team and plans to continue until he graduates. He enjoys hunting and being outside in all seasons. Brandon likes to trap raccoons, swim in pools, hike in the woods, go four-wheeling and walk in nature. Brandon hopes to complete his high school education and possibly enter the military once completed. Brandon has a close relationship with his two older brothers. Brandon hopes to continue with hockey and extra activities and learn to drive.
Brandon is interested in a home with a mother and a father. He is comfortable in a family setting. Brandon has two older brothers who have aged out of the system. He wants to be in close contact with his brothers and foster parents he has resided with since his placement, 6 years prior.
Felicia is very smart and witty. She is very proud of her grades and strives to make honor roll each semester. She enjoys writing stories and telling jokes to share with others. Felicia has written two books; which her foster mother printed for distribution to friends. She loves to read and has an extensive collection of young adult novels. She likes to work outside of her home and be with other youth her age.
Felicia is very creative and personable with others. She is loyal to her friends and likes to do normal teenage activities: like dancing and watching movies. Felicia finds family very important to her and longs for parents who share the same interests. Felicia likes to be active with her family and go to local events and shows. She attends basketball games and has an interest in bowling.
One of Felicia’s biggest accomplishments, over the past year, has been learning to cook. She has proven to be a very fast and diligent learner. She is compiling recipes for future use when she is on her own one day. Felicia plans on attending college once she is done with high school, so she can be her own person and explore the world.
Felicia needs a family who will like to spend time with her and help her stay focused on her goals. She wants a family whom is patient and understanding of her past. She wants someone who is willing to listen to her and able to give her advice when she needs it.
Xavier is 16 years old who needs a loving and supportive home. Xavier enjoys fishing, being outdoors, watching movies, playing video games and swimming. Xavier is active and enjoys staying busy. Xavier enjoys Marvel characters. Xavier enjoys school and obtains good grades. He does not mind doing chores but needs reminders from time to time. Xavier is open to one or two parent family. He is also okay with having siblings but would like to be the youngest child.
