Human Resources

The Human Resources Division for the Ottawa County Department of Job and Family services, is a division of the Ottawa County Board of County Commissioners and provides a wide variety of service to our quadruple combined agency. The current workforce totals approximately 49 employees.

Human resources is responsible for employee assistance with health benefits and employee relations. Our employees are presented with the most current and up to date information including health benefits, wellness programs, and much more. Our agency also negotiates and administers one collective bargaining agreement for the various departments and their staff.

It is our mission to provide quality service through the use of best practices to maintain accurate, reliable, and accessible information regarding employees and hire the best candidates for our agency.
